How could my friend betray me like this??!!?

i had a friend in my student organization. she's really nice and friendly towards me. recently she had some election. she invited me to her facebook event and she wants people to vote for her. i wrote posted a message on the wall saying that i support her and wishing her good luck. she took it the wrong way way and she thinks that i like her ually, and that she never wants to see me again. i mean what the hell?? how could she betray me like this? i will still go to the election and vote for her, but only because she WAS a good friend. (and i have to vote for another person too) this is the last kind gesture that i will do for her. if she was a normal friend, I would just not vote at all. I mean I am putting in my time to stand in a voting line to vote for her, and she is paying me back by rebuffing me?! why are people so mean? she was the last person i would expect to do this kind of thing! i mean i will still vote but my motivation for voting is strictly repayment. she's done so many good things for me that sorta outweighs this betrayal.
